Isabel Cruellas

Isabel Cruellas was always a restless child, a trait that eventually led her to do many different things in her life. She started painting at the age of 9 as a hobby but she never thought about going to painting school; therefore, she is fully self-trained.

In 1991, Isabel Cruellas opened a restaurant and her husband suggested she could decorate it with her works. To Isabel’s surprise, diners took an interest in her paintings and started purchasing and commissioning her works. In time, she clearly understood her call was painting and she decided to drop an endless number of things she was doing and devote herself entirely to her art. Now every time she speaks of her life she says she feels very happy and fortunate.

Isabel Cruellas has had many exhibitions in cities such as Madrid, Zaragoza, Bilbao, Girona, Tarragona, and Barcelona.
