Aunaray Carol Clusiau

Growing up in Toronto Aunaray C. Clusiau took her first art classes at the Ontario College of Art before moving west and falling in love with BC.

At Emily Carr College of Art and Design she graduated with a major in film and was awarded a scholarship each year as well as The Helen Pitt Award and The Joseph Golland Memorial Scholarship.

In 1995 she was accepted into the prestigious Canadian Film Center as a Resident Director and Screenwriter.

Under the name Carol Clusiau she has been reviewed in the Vancouver Sun, The North Shore News, Playback Magazine, The Oregonian Press, Take One Magazine, The Montreal Mirror as well as interviews on Co-op Radio Vancouver and The CBC Morning Show.

Retired from film directing and screen writing, she is happy to be living away from the big city in the beautiful Okanagan where she has renewed her passion for painting.

Large Contemporary abstract and impressionistic paintings of trees and water are an ongoing theme in Aunaray’s work.

Aunaray Carol Clusiau’s paintings are “Soul soothingly peaceful is all I can say” Wineries Refined magazine.

Aunaray lives in Kelowna and can be found in her working studio #202 at the Rotary Centre for the Arts. Currently her work can be seen at Red Rooster Winery and the Local, Lounge and Grille at the Summerland Resort.
