Vanessa Drew

Vanessa Drew received her Bachelor of Fine Arts from Queen’s University in 2005.  After completing post-graduate studies abroad, she began to pursue her career as an artist. With her mother a florist and her father an animator, she was surrounded by art in various forms and was encouraged to find her own voice. The end result is a fusion of both disciplines, creating an eclectic style which she has made uniquely her own. Although Vanessa is a versatile artist who has explored different themes, flowers are both her muse and her forte. Her playful, whimsical gardens hit us with a splash of vibrant colour, which transcend the grayness of life in the concrete jungle. She has taken part in a number of shows and exhibitions in Ontario, and now spends her days painting in her studio.
