Visual artist Liz Nichtberger of Gainesville, Fl., takes her inspiration from the beauty of the natural world.
Starting with the canvas, her pieces are awash in color and layered with textures.
The materials are poured, pushed, and cajoled into various abstract designs reminiscent of a wide range of subjects, from faraway vistas to small, still-life images.
