Maria

Maria was born and raised in Bari, Italy. Inspired by her father's photography and paintings by her mother, she started painting at a young age capturing scenes of Girasoli a Sirolo and the Southern Harbours of Bari.

Being trained also in the Graphic Arts field while living in Montreal, Maria's work displays a strong sense of vector art in a painterly fashion, with soft color and texture that reminisces to the vast open fields of her homeland. Maria explores a diversity in her art, from landscapes to figuratism, floral to abstract. Her earth-toned palette is what defines and links each piece.
